Simple cupcake birthday card

Announcement: I moved to my uni room last Sunday, and I begin lectures on Monday. I expect to be busy! But not too busy for crafts, hehe.

My boyfriend’s birthday is soon, but two problems; he’s working on that day plus the whole weekend, and I already moved out of town. We’ll have to do celebrations later. But I decided to make a card for him before I left.

Men aren’t as fond of fancy/pretty/floral cards like women are, I suppose. They like simple ones that get to the point. So I didn’t use too many colours, and the central motif was a cupcake, which funnily enough, means something to us. The adhesive jewels represent cupcake sprinkles and the banner represents a gift tag on wrapping.
