Aren’t origami roses just lovely? I’ve made a lot of flower bouquets in the past year using the wire and stem method, but I did something a little different this time. Instead, I wrapped green paper around a pen and affixed a Kawasaki rose to a calyx on the top of the stalk. Now I have the perfect pen for someone like me!
If you think that the stalk looks unnatural because of the thickness of the pen, you can choose to take the ink container out of the pen and wrap with paper to make your stem. It will look a lot more nicer, but it might become impractical as it’s quite difficult to write with it. I tried it, and it didn’t work well for me, but maybe you might like it better.
Materials: 14cm square of red paper, three 7cm squares of green paper, scissors, pen, PVA glue
