This piece of serpentine is very light in colour. And the mint shade of green happens to be quite close to this colour too.

It’s actually a very thin piece of serpentine, almost like a large chip, so I thought it would be best to cover up as little of the stone as possible. The wire holds the stone in place well, and I made short stems and curls near the bail of the pendant. This is quite similar to the green prehnite piece that I made a while ago; actually, serpentine and prehnite are quite similar, just different shades of green.
