Christmas makes

And so another Christmas has come and gone. Christmas is always a good time to get crafty. When putting up the tree, you can decorate it with handmade decorations. Make your own cards to send to people. Make things for people as presents, and even make the gift tag that goes with it! I remember last year, I was quite crafty for Christmas. This year, not so much, sadly.

I did make a couple of new things this year. At CraftSoc’s last session of the term, we made Christmas-themed things, of course! Accompanied with mince pies and festive music, haha.

The first thing I made was a Christmas card. The materials used were green cardstock, various chipboard shapes, present-themed paper and a red bow to finish.

Then I moved to the next table and made a simple felt decoration. We had the felt to create things like snowmen, Christmas puddings and Santa, but I opted for the typical tree decoration. This required green felt, brown felt, various buttons, a red ribbon and a sewing kit.
