Green like the natural earth, but with these ethereal-looking bands running through one side of the stone. I chose this side of the stone to be on the front side.

This is my first pendant made with sterling silver wire. I was being careful with the wire, but at the same time, there’s no need to be so careful with it. With silver-plated wire, rough handling of it would cause the silver to chip off and reveal the copper underneath. This is more noticeable when you have to cut the wires, or maybe it was because my cutting pliers are wonky… Anyway, sterling silver is a little brighter in colour as well.
