Citrine energises every level of life. It cleanses the chakras and opens the intuition. Citrine attracts wealth, prosperity and success. It imparts joy, wonder, delight and enthusiasm. Raises self-esteem and self-confidence. Stimulates the brain, strengthening the intellect. Citrine promotes motivation, activates creativity and encourages self-expression. Enhances concentration and revitalises the mind. It releases negative traits, depression, fears and phobias. Emotionally balancing. (From Charms of Light.)
During one of my trips to the market in my home town (which I have regretfully not visited in the longest while now) I purchase a large chunk of citrine because I wanted to make a citrine gem tree. In my tool box, I have a pack of citrine chips which I have used before, but there were still many left over.
I love gem trees, they make such a pretty and delicate-looking decoration for the windowsill. Sometimes it’s hard to twist wires for so long so it’s great to see it finally finished. My other problem was that these chips were so tiny that sometimes they would break after I had twisted them in place. Citrine is very delicate indeed, and worth a bit more than the other stones I’ve bought before, no wonder they were small chips.
