2nd anniversary card

Hello all! I’ve recently come back from spending my 2nd anniversary with my boyfriend. For the occasion, I made him a personalised card; nothing too complicated, I just put together some pretty papers with a theme in mind. Want to make it yourself? I’ve add a few progress shots after the big photo.

The patterned paper was a free gift from the UK’s Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, everything else is just plain card.

Materials: Red, white and black card, red and black paper, patterned red paper, red organza ribbon, black gel pen, one red heart gem, glue stick, double-side sticky tape, scissors

Measured out and cut the pieces of card and patterned paper

Start gluing stuff down to make the outlines and frames
Glue the white card to the black card, and then to the patterned paper on the red card
Cut out two ribbon strands, made one into a bow, and secured both with double-sticky tape
